I've started a blog regarding living with Asperger's on Blogspot - you can find it here. My goal with this blog is to try to help other young people with Asperger's and autism realize that they can live normal, happy lives and can do anything! Wish me luck!

I obviously don't hate you people on it, but I hate how I've become so dependent on it to communicate. I'm really starting to get scared that it's inhibiting me in real life. My education professor just emailed me after class today. It honestly really touched me - I started to cry when I read it. In class we were talking a little bit about how researchers have been working with autistic kids using improvisational exercises to get them to learn how to better interact with people in real life. This is old news, but Shonda Schilling has written a book about the Schilling family's third son, Grant, who has Asperger's syndrome, which I was diagnosed with myself last July. I think I'm going to actually pick the book up and read it. The article on it actually summed it up pretty nicely, too, which surprised me.
